I started making my Super Lytes splint boots while I was showing my horses. I had purchased several pair and I needed something that would hold up to numerous washing. So, I tried several types of materials and finally settled on Cordura. Cordura is durable and washes really well. The inside of my splint boots are lined with several layers of felt which also holds up well with numerous washings. There is a leather protective layer in the splint bone area to protect the horse’s splint bones. I use the same on both the front and back legs.

The Super Lytes have four 2” velcro closures and a 1-1/2” heavy webbing along the center back.

Finished measurements down the center seam is 10-1/2”. Other than replacing the Velcro, the Super Lytes have made many trips down the alley on my horses. I would not make or sell something for your horses that I would not use on my own horses.

I offer them in a wide variety of colors. White, Black, Red, Navy Blue, Purple, Hot Pink, Turquoise, Neon Pink, Neon Green, Neon Yellow, Neon Orange etc.
